FIXED - I had a look at Task Manager and on the Startup tab, I disabled AVG User Interface as that was one of the recent apps I installed. It doesn't revert to 640x480 anymore. Do you know why AVG would do that? What other antivirus software would you recommend? Thank you for your help though!

I noticed that after logging in, there is a buffering ring next to my cursor before it reverts to 640x480 and also makes the same sound as inserting an usb I posted in a forum called Notebook Review which has a Razer subforum before I posted here. Still waiting for a reply on there though...
