    How will this fix the problem I have though? If it only creates symbols then how could it possibly get rid of the volume bar or me unable to swipe the screen?

    I'm not to sure how to use these Alt codes? Is there a website you could guide me to that tells me how to use them properly in a situation such as mine? I tried click Alt + 65 on the keypad and that did nothing and than I click a + z and that did nothing so I'm not to sure what you mean to do...
