    Upgrading Windows 8.1 >> Windows 10 question...free space

Yes it will as the upgrade installation leaves a Windows.old folder which in itself will be over 20GB. You'd need a bigger SSD really.

    Custom PC Builder

I bought my current rig from a custom builder (it's been upgraded a lot since), and at the time I'd have saved about £70 buying the parts and putting it together myself. Seeing as I didn't have much free time I could easily justify it. If you look around sometimes you can find some very custom...

    Please Help BSODs

Right, sorry it took so long for me to get back to you, I've been pretty busy the past couple of days. I've outline the details of the diagnostic test below, test the RAM and we'll go from there once we know the results. Download and run MemTest86+ to test your RAM. RAM - Test with Memtest86+ -...

    Please Help BSODs

I've taken a quick look at your dumps and memory corruption pops up in the vast majority of them. I can't post up the details as I'm on my phone at the moment but I'll list it later and post a diagnostic test for you to run.

    Please Help BSODs

I'm not blaming the BSOD problem on IOBit, I'm saying debugging the BSODs and getting the system working properly may be a hell of a lot harder with IOBit present. If you're not willing to uninstall it then that's your call, I can look at your dumps and tell you what I find, beyond that I can't...

    Please Help BSODs

I've only ever heard horror stories when IOBit is involved, most resorting to clean installs to rid themselves of it. It would be an idea to try and get rid of it to rule it out although it can be a real pain to completely wipe from the system.

BSOD whea_uncorrectable_error if i watch netflix on chrome

I've found as many 0x124s caused by failing hard drives and RAM as CPU, and very rarely found the motherboard to be the problem. In fact I've seen more 0x124s caused by Gigabyte crapware and Chrome than motherboards.
