Ok, so I'm getting the same error as the guy in the topic.. Error 5, access denied. The run type (or whatever - I have a Polish version of the OS) says "Automatic (delayed start, freed/released ((?)) start). Does that mean that the dreaded HDD formatting is my last resort?

OK, silly me. So, the report file indicates an error 0x80070426 which stands for "service disabled".
