I'd like to have a neat looking desktop, something like rainmeter does (I could never get that to work properly on windows 7). Could someone let me know of some customization tools and maybe a small tutorial how to do it?

I'd like to use this, because I've downloaded way too much junk. I want to keep some things though. It says that it will erase everything except for things like wallpapers, pictures, etc. so I was wondering if I could put files in my pictures folder for example and it won't erase those? Also...
