Glad it worked. I asked in my thread what exactly this does and how it fixed my issues but no response. I will keep these commands handy if it happens again!

I have an HP media center M7360N desktop with a Pentium D dual core, 4gb ram and a Ge Force 6200 SE card running 9.18.13.774 drivers. I get this screen mess sometimes when on the web and on the desktop. Any ideas how to get rid of this issue?

Well I updated the bios and it now sees the 4gb and boots! Awesome!

I downloaded from Microsoft website and ran that. So if I can get a dvd of the 64 bit I can just use my current product key? I am on a 64 bit windows 7 laptop right now so I can download that iso and burn it to a dvd I could upgrade to 64 bit? I guess the next question would come back to driver...

I tried the 306 driver with no better results by the way. But really no worse. It was running pretty good on XP and I did play some on 8 and that seemed ok, but I went to 8.1 almost immediately because I had heard there were some enhancements in there that made it alot better. Maybe a mistake...

That was the same driver and it did come with the same error. lol.:rolleyes:. Ah well the I will try the 306.97 one Is, running out of options. Have you tried uninstalling the driver and selecting to delete the driver then reboot and see what Windows installs? Kind of a last ditch effort...

I will do a restore point first for sure. I just have to boot into safe mode if I get a bsod right? It is funny that in the 64 bit driver my card is supported but not on the 32 bit. Thanks again!

I will try that asap. I am sorry for my ignorance of drivers but are these drivers made by Nvidia or is this a secondary company that is making them? Is there any good in trying older versions of the driver? Just a thought. Thanks again!
