Fixed it by enabling Fast Boot in BIOS and disabling Launch CSM. Now I have a really quick startup too Thanks Brink. :)

Looks like that fixed my start-twice issue, but I still have a stretched Windows 8 logo and also a stretched spin wheel on startup...

Windows 8.1~ If I start the computer from a full shut down state the Windows logo will appear but it will not go anywhere, and will stick at that screen. This forces me to shut the comp down and then start up again which makes it then boot normally... Why do I have to start the computer twice...

Oh I see what you mean. The look I am trying to get though, is an aero glass, combined with the white title text. It seems I have to use one or the other.

Is it possible to use two installed themes at once? The reason I want to do this is one theme gives me the Windows 7 aero look, and the other gives me the white title bar text so I can use dark colors and see window titles...

Windows 8 Themes messed up Ok so I added a theme and was able to use it some, but after messing around with the Light and Dark contrast themes I went back to my added one, and now it's completely messed up: (buttons missing, blurry artifacts...craziness) And no, it's not just that theme...

It can't be a design flaw because I get that same line in Windows 7 and Classicshell is made to imitate Windows 7. Also, i don't know of any menus for classicshell.

do you know how to remove the separation for good? has nothing to do with the blur problem.

It's something I've run into for quite a while. its been bugging me...... There is a random line in my programs column. How can i remove this line? This line exists in the genuine windows 7 start menu AND the classicshell menu.

I looked in my nvidia program thing and I saw nothing helpful for this. I'm also looking at the link and trying to see if I understand what it says to do.

I have a 1080p laptop w/ Windows 8.1. When I first started the OS I had to go through a bunch of programs, locate each .exe file, and right click>properties> Disable high DPI scaling to get the programs not to look horribly blurry. I use it with a monitor a lot and don't have any issues with...
