It's definitely the PC, all other devices on the network both ethernet and wireless all work without issue. Thankyou for your help but i'm going to restore to w8, glad you got yours sorted :)

No Elias not at all Metro mode after 2 minutes

Same issue with Realtek but wireless only works for me for 2 minutes before dropping, then i have to disable and reenable to get another 2 minutes

If i did this correctly, this didnt work for me unfortunetly Doesnt matter if i add chrome or all 3 browsers, private and/or public, there's no change for me The internet will still only work for 2 minutes after restart

yes I have, I managed to get internet to come through intermittently by selecting and unselecting wifi on - but it didn't fix anything. I have a useless pc with no internet because of windows 8.1 and I can't even restore, what do I do?

Im having the same problem. Was fine on Windows 8, as soon as Windows 8.1 was installed i can only browse for 2 minutes before any and all browsers give page cannot be displayed error. Seems to be only effecting the browsers as everything else on the network is unaffected (my W8 phone i'm on...
