    This solved my problem! Thank you very much for your help. The windows search feature is almost critical for getting things done in Windows 8. I'm glad it was such a simple solution. I had tried much more complicated things previously. You're a life saver my2cents!

    Solved Search doesn't work

    says I need to update Windows Search I've tried this previously. It tells me that I need to update Windows Search to version 6 or later. I've looked and I've not seen how to do this. Any ideas?

    Solved Search doesn't work

    My search feature isn't working.:shock: This is the main search that should start with you typing while the metro screen is up. Some time ago it just disappeared. I've tried a couple of things to get it to work, but I can't. Can anyone run me through trouble shooting it? Thanks, Gn13l
