Has anyone found an ISO image for the 8.1 update? I prefer doing clean installs with updates slipstreamed into the install. It cuts down on the time needed to get everything back up.
Yes, they were provided through windows update. 31mb just seems a little lacking for an update that was receiving so much attention.
Edit: Hold on a second.... now there's a new update that's nearly 900mb. That's more what I was expecting.

I don't use spinners any more; only SSD's. Back when I did I always seemed to have the most problems with Maxtor, and occasionally WD drives.
I haven't had a single problem with an SSD and am now on my 3rd drive.

Debra, you will most likely get your answer on the Asus support forum. Google it... You can easily "upgrade" to Win7, but you might have trouble finding drivers.
