    Solved Can't Delete Account Picture

Hi Brink, As we all know..ms windows can act kind of strange sometimes. I decided to create a new 'local' account, that part went ok..of course I had to create a user name & password. I logged into the newly created local account without any problem. I then shutdown my computer, when I turned it...

    Solved Can't Delete Account Picture

Hi All, Why does Microsoft make it so difficult to perform what should be such an easy task ? All I want to do is have a blank account picture on the login screen, this morning I even switched to a 'local' account instead of my Microsoft account, but the account picture is still there. I know...

Hi All, Thanks for your suggestion's, I just went into the addon area, this time I disabled the flash player, then I went back into the 'all addons' area and changed my previous selection back to allow all sites, at least I got rid of the annoying prompt box @ the bottom of the page. David :)

Solved How To Disable Add-On Prompt For Flash Player

Hi, It seems as though the software developers @ Adobe are REALLY getting even more sophisticated, I'm running IE 11 on windows 8.1 pro edition 32-bit. I seemingly kept getting more and more ad's on web pages, some would even start playing automatically. I was really getting frustrated with...

Hi vivi, Sorry you are having issue's..at least for me, how I got my original issue corrected was I guess you might say by accident. I was doing a 'live' chat session with a microsoft customer service rep. from this site: Microsoft Support I was talking about a different issue, and casually...

Solved New ASUS T100 Windows 8.1 Set Up Question

Hi, This morning I turned on my brand new ASUS T100 Transformer Book with Windows 8.1 pre-installed for the first time, of course I got the 'normal' screen prompt's when setting up a brand new computer. Such as country/language, time zone, set up internet connection, do I have a microsoft...

Move IE 11 Metro Address Bar To Top Of Page

Hello All, The more I read about the new IE 11 browser being used in the start screen mode, I really think my question was posted for no reason. I think by design..it's PURPOSELY put on the bottom of the page. At least for me, I vastly prefer the 'desktop' version of IE 11 (when I use it!), over...

Move IE 11 Metro Address Bar To Top Of Page

Hi, As I'm used to having the address bar @ the top of the page, (like it is in the desktop version)..it looks like MS would have offered an option to do so in the 'metro' version. I hope that some user can come up with a 'hack' to get that done. David

Hello All, I'm updating my post to keep other user's informed..just in case they care! I clicked on the search function in the...

Dear David B., I changed the two setting you suggested, at least now..part of the gmail page loads correctly, but 'parts' of it are still missing. Such as the logout button, and the additional info. that normally shows on the left hand side of the page, chat , etc. . David
