I found the App Data folder. Now, however, the problem is that there isn't a OneNote folder in the Microsoft folder. I selected "show hidden" and everything, the folder just isn't there. Do you think I accidentally deleted that folder?

I having trouble locating a App Data folder

Recently I was transferring documents from one computer to another and I believe I deleted my Microsoft OneNote notebook in the process. Any idea how to find the lost file? I don't think I had saved it (OneNote confuses me a bit) but there has to be a way to find it, right?

I do have another question: I have the favorites folder now, but can't seem to find "Recent Places." It's usually in "favorites" but since I had to manually replace everything in that folder, it's gone and I have no idea where it is. Any idea how to get the "recent places" folder back?

I was following the steps to Option Two, but Step 18, when I have to enter the code isn't working. Am I supposed to relpace "Current_User" and "Software" and "Current Version" with my own? I tried this, but it's still now working... :/ EDIT: Never mind, I found the regedit location
