    Seems like i am booting in legacy mode,although the stick was formatted in FAT32,i changed it to NTFS,ran the whole procedure again to no avail.

    Can't create bootable USB3 stick,while loading,it states that,no bootable device was found and i have to reboot to my main drive. It's the first time that i am trying to create the rescue media on an USB3.0 stick,all my USB 2.0 are working just fine.Tried while on FAT32 and NTFS,changed WinPE...

    NVidia site while searching for drivers,they appear in order by release date,choose the version you want to try out and download those, fully uninstall with Driver Fusion or DDU and do a clean installation.

    I get it now,no flickering with 660 but problems after the switch to 980, just swap the cards,that will get the monitor and adapters out of the equation

    DDU is sufficient,good you used it.Does the problem occur while in safe mode too?If not,it might indicate that an application causes the flickering

    Want to try a clean driver install? Use Driver Fusion,free clean application,go to driver family tab,select display,delete,restart and install latest recommended drivers,see how it goes,i'll be around waiting I insist on using Driver Fusion,it really uninstalls in depth previous drivers

    Some kind of enabling the ports in BIOS maybe?Mine were disabled by default on my board when i first attached a USB 3 stick!
