Nope, no one at all. The recovery partition was lost due to a hard drive crash, so I've got nothing except the Windows 8 Microsoft setup. I know the product key is embedded in the BIOS, I just need to find it

Thanks for the reply. I don't have any recovery disks or anything like that, and ASUS don't have any to give me. I've already checked with them and I'm in quite a bad situation. They'll only replace Windows 7 disks for laptops that came installed with Windows 7, obviously not of any use to me...

Hi guys, I have quite a bad situation here. My laptop (Asus K55N) originally came with Windows 8, a few months ago, I installed Windows 7 over 8, and now I want to revert to windows 8. I downloaded the Windows 8 Setup file from Microsoft's website and it will not recognise my BIOS product key...
