So I have been having this problem for about a week now. Sometimes, my screen resolution resets to 1024x768 from the recommended 1600x900 on boot. This forces me to change it back in the control panel every time. Once I fix it, it comes back after 2-4 reboots. Can anyone help me fix this?

I finally found the time to refresh my PC, and the problems are gone! I think I know which program caused it, so I will not install it again. I have learned my lesson and now have my PC free of whatever it was!

You know what, I will probably do some research on refreshing. It might be the only thing I can do now. I will just look up tutorials and make sure to make a list of installed programs that I need and other things. If something doesn't go right, I will report back here. If it fixes the problem...

Well, I have been Ccleaner alot, but ever since I've had this issue, Ccleaner does not work properly anymore for cleanup. I just disabled them all except for Ccleaner and Skype.

I ran Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth, and it did nothing. However sfc /scannow gives no error and says there is nothing wrong. I posted a log with mediafire because it exceeded the filzesize for attachments. And I'm sure I did nothing to cause this, it happened when I came back home...

My PC is up to date. I just found out the startup programs DO start up, but they take a LONG time to do so. Malwarebytes won't open for some reason. I just did a scan with avast though, and it found no viruses or malware. What could be the problem?
