Which drivers are you trying to install? The latest ones for AGP cards only list support through Windows 7: AMD Catalyst If they are real Windows 7 drivers (WDM 1.1), they may work for Windows 8 as well. Getting them to install may be a little tricky. (Compatibility mode?)

So, you are already running Windows 8. Are you having some sort of problem with it? If you did an upgrade-in-place to Windows 8, you might have done better to do a clean install.
