Hello. I booted in safe mode with network. However, the network icon shows like a red x on it. I had to click on the icon, and connect to the internet. It didn't connect automatically. :\

Do you get any error message? Have you made any changes on the computer prior to the issue? I would try booting the computer in Safe Mode and see if the issue persists. Also, try scanning your computer with MalwareBytes: Malwarebytes : Free anti-malware download
