    Solved BSOD System Service Exception

Yeah, good idea. Agh but I don't want to see any more BSOD's . I might just be lazy and not do anything since even if the HDMI driver is the issue, I'd have to re-install it anyway to use the HDMI port and then keep KB2778344 supressed. I'll post here if I try it though.

    Solved BSOD System Service Exception

Interesting. I checked my Windows Update history, and it appears that KB2818604 (The microupdate for AMD processors) had been installed one day prior (February 26th) to when I was still having BSOD's and thus uninstalled the KB2778344, so it looks like that update actually didn't fix the issue...

    Solved BSOD System Service Exception

I'll agree that I'm not too keen on the idea of uninstalling Windows updates, particularly security updates, but there are only two driver versions for this AMD video card, the latest one being the one I have installed now, and I'm pretty sure I had tried the older one but still got the BSOD's...

    Solved BSOD System Service Exception

Thanks for the reply. That's so funny, I literally just 10 minutes ago found a similar mention of that KB2778344 update causing problems with AMD drivers, so I uninstalled it and hid it as mentioned in that blog. All it took was a google search of ": ntoskrnl.exe (nt+0x7A040) " and I found...

    Solved BSOD System Service Exception

Hmm, so I went to device manager and did "Update Driver." I had a version 6.x.x.x driver there from Broadcom, and Windows "updated" it to a 5.x.x.x version (which fails to automatically connect to Wi-Fi even more frequently than the 6.x.x.x version). But it crashed again today while using...

    Solved BSOD System Service Exception

Thanks a bunch for the analysis (wish I could do that). This is strange because that is the latest Broadcom Driver that I grabbed from Acer's website and have had it installed since January without issues. I'll see if I can revert to a different version tomorrow and check back with a "mark as...

    Solved BSOD System Service Exception

Hello, my friends. Posting here because I desperately need someone to check my dump files to see why my netbook keeps crashing on me a couple times every day. It's only happened while using Google Chrome or Windows (File) Explorer. I would have more dump files, but I accidentally deleted them...
