Hi , i want to know how i can limit the speed of my connection to selected devices,i have a prolink N5001 router and a 6mbps connection ,i need to assign specific speeds to different devices using the wifi(like for the phone and laptop)

Though I have selected to automatically connect to my wifi network after switching on my laptop wont connect it I have to click connect for it to connect?

well i just checked my dvd drive is an 8x dvd writer,and the dvd i got was 16x, is this a problem?

i created it selecting a usb flash drive without any problems,i used imations 16x dvd's, actually i tried 2 dvds purchased from the same store,both failed

When i download and install software like winRAR ,Deamontools.etc.... it automatically installs on the OS drive(c drive) by default,there is no option to select the location, how do i change this?

i am getting my windows 8 laptop in a few days, ihave heard many issues with windows update,where people update and their computers getting stuck in the middle and so on ,So please tell me when i get my laptop should i update windows or DISABLE UPDATES?

I was using XP earlier but got a laptop with windows 8,my printer is a EPSON STYLUS C45 and the drivers that have been released for it is only up to XP ,is there anything i could do?
