i totally agree with your statement - especially "it's displaying the desktop a bit too fast", when it has not started loading any programs or none of the desktop functions have started working (e.g. clicking start button, launching a file = unresponsive), till after it has warmed up.

Hi, this is odd - because I really did reformat my Windows boot drive, aka the SSD which contained Daemon tools - hence it shouldn't appear again. i have also updated ssd firmware to latest version, all controllers to latest versions, ram @ default speed, checked integrity of SSDs and HDDs...
