I'm just trying to get wmp to show some video, avi, mp4, wma, etc won't show any video, just audio.

I did the upgrade from win7 to win8 x64. When I try to use wmp I get audio but no video. I have tried reinstalling my codecs and different codecs like sharks, klite etc. I have reinstalled my graphic drivers. I have tried add/remove features, but no look. Its the same with wmc. I can play videos...
