I see this as a re-occurring issue with Windows of the past and present. Customization... The fine developers at Microsoft see themselves fit to decide what we, the end users, like. In an age of the massive customization capabilities in OSs like Android, I can't imagine why MS would launch yet...

I think kfarris is referring to changing only the user displayed their start screen and other windows areas, not the e-mail address itself. I too would like to change this. I don't like the thought of someone being able to open my laptop to find my e-mail address being displayed for them. I see...
