    BSOD-Restore n/g - chkdsk: c /r/f/x may have worked - should I get a new computer?

An SSD is always a good option. You will feel like you have a new computer. I would strongly suggest an SSD if it is within your budget. You could get a smaller SSD and a mechanical hard driver for your dta, keep only the OS and programs on the SSD. That's what most of us do. I realize...

The motherboard's web site is where you will find the QVL list which will tell you most of that. You can also let the Crucial Scanner see what type ram they suggest. You can the look at the specs and buy any brand ram you want. But, I think Kingston is good ram, but probably no better than the...

    Solved BSOD Playing WoW

You're welcome. I hope everything continues to work for you. I would use it just that way for a few days and make sure there are no problems. If there are not, you can buy an adapter to connect your second monitor to your graphics card. They are usually pretty cheap. I just bought a Display Port...

    Solved BSOD Playing WoW

Are you saying your monitors are not plugged into the card? They should be, if it was working. But, it shouldn't affect the CPUz detection. You could download GPUz (https://www.techpowerup.com/gpuz/) and see what it detects. It can give you a lot of info about your graphics. If you download it...

    Solved BSOD Playing WoW

Aimee, it seems you have some problems with your Graphics card. At least that's what it appears. If you look at your mainboard CPUz screenshot, the PCIe at the bottom says X0 X0. It should say X16 X16. It means your card is not being used and is not being recognized. This is what I am talking about.

You're quite welcome. I'm glad you 'escaped' the Clean Install and got Windows 10 installed. I have 6 systems with the GWX icon. None of them upgraded until I told them to, so I don't know about that part.

Are all the Windows updates installed, can you run sfc and dism? If you have a 3rd party anti virus, uninstall it first. Then reinstall it after the upgrade.
