Anybody? I really would like to know what is going on here, please. The fact that some uninstall links appear in the category and some in the same folder do not is really maddening. Only four links show in the category folder here...

This seems to be a Windows issue that existed before Win 8.x I had it with some files and folders on my Win 7 system.

I've opened the file locations for various start menu shortcuts and moved or deleted them. For some this works fine and gives me a start menu that makes sense, e.g. putting all the apps to do with graphics in a graphics category, all the uninstall links in an uninstall category and so on...

Who'd upgrade? I can't help wondering, reading through this thread, how many users of machines that aren't X64 capable would be thinking about upgrading them. By definition they are unlikley to be enthusiastic upgraders or wanting to spend good money on a whole new 64bit OS if they're getting...

Error messages that at actually tell you what isn't working and what it needs to make it work. (I've been waiting for that since Win 3.1). Happy New year :D
