I just created the same account via POP instead of IMAP, and now the folder/ost is named after the email address. So, am I to assume that when you create an IMAP connection via outlook, you get some whack OST name scheme? Can anyone break this down for me?

It's okay, I wish it had better active protection but it isn't bad. (I've seen infections/retroviruses from browsers completely shut down MSE before so I'm a little disappointed to be honest). I hear Windows Defender for 8 is a tad better.

One thing always disappointed me about local email software applications. And that's the password storage. The password is stored locally on your machine. So, I'm sure there are password stealers that will sniff out stored email passwords. That seems to be a huge vulnerability in my opinion...

Because I'm a paranoid schizophrenic. :) I remember I had a "zbot" Trojan.. Malwarebytes did NOT pick it up. But Emisoft did. I then ran a scan of the infected file over on Jotti's, and like 20% of the scanners picked it up. I believe in scanning redundancy. :) Just my $.02
