thanks but nothing to do with what i asked. i got the gpt partitions transferred to the evo 850 from the intel using partition wizard 10.0. before i did the reboot for pw to finish i changed the wall paper so i would know for once on the desktop i was on the evo. pretty much no fuss or muss.
