I haven't changed, deleted or installed anything. It just started Sunday night. I've put the cursor in the bottom of the screen (I know how to work the hotkeys) but they won't appear.

Sorry. When I say hotkeys I mean when you slide the mouse to the right of the screen (PC) and you get the power button, settings, wifi, etc. It's a Sony Vaio Tap 20

For the past few days my hot keys have disappeared. I haven't changed any settings or installed anything. How do I get them back?

If I have several word docs and excel files open my desktop gets littered with temp file icons. Is there a way to hide these? Using windows 8.1 btw. Thanks

Weird issue. My photos (regardless if I view them in metro or a desktop folder) won't fill the entire screen. Instead there is a black bar on the left and right of the photo. How do I make images take up the entire screen? I have a Vaio Tap 20 inch all in one with the latest version of windows...

I agree. I have had two tablets with windows 8 and both have problems with wifi. Absolutely ridiculous

If anyone is still having this issue I wanted to let you know I fixed it. I had COX internet and moved. Now I have ATT Uverse and I have not had a single internet interruption on my W8 computer. Guess ATT's router was better/stronger/or newer than COXs. Dunno. That's not a option some people...

I really don't understand this logic at all. So if I am working on my PC (let's say a word doc) and everytime I get up from the desk I am supposed to close out of what I am doing and scroll thru the start screen live tiles to find out if I have a alert from mail, espn, twitter, Facebook...

Why? I posted a thread about a possible notification center coming soon to WPhone which hopefully will make its way to the desktop version.

Do you not use windows 8? There is no notification center if you miss a Facebook notification or a espn notification or a weather notification, etc.... If you miss is that's it. The notification just disappears off the screen.

Apparently screen shots have leaked of the new notification center in Windows Phone. If MS wants to make their software the same for all devices (tablets/phones/desktops) then this is what we may be seeing in a future windows desktop/tablet version. Leaked slide shows off notification center...

Exactly the issue. If I am in a app I need to close it to see the time. Or swipe. Or whatever. It's asinine.

Hey Microsoft.....why the HELL do you guys like to hide the freaking date and time? Why not make it always viewable? And don't say "there's a app for that". That's ridiculous.

Team Viewer is great. And it's free. Pretty amazing.

Same problem. It's Sonys issue. Go to the Sony support website and you'll see lots and lots of problems with this issue. I'll never ever EVER buy another Sony computer.
