I do very well acknowledge that Galaxy Y is not powerful enough to support heavy OS like Jelly Bean.
Biggest problem I am having with Gingerbread is that it doesn't support Adobe Flash or Adobe Air. Therefore I get poor web experience and some of the apps are not supported, in addition...
Fourthofjuly, I have seen lot of Galaxy Y (my phone, has lower RAM than 512 MB) running Jelly Bean smoothly.
You can checkout some on YouTube.
They even suggest you the download link to the custom ROM that they used to upgrade to the Jelly Bean but like I mentioned in beginning of the thread I...
Brummyfan, such cloud storage websites can only access files on your computer that you give them access to.
Mostly you will upload files through a web browsers so once you close the browser they will have no access to your computer at all.
Although files you uploaded online are accessible by...
MrShowdown, yes I realized the file size part, that's really impressive and desired feature especially by free users.
But as I mentioned above I am just concerned about their terms of services (I know many people don't read it but I glanced over).
And they are successor of Megaupload so...
Mega.co.nz is successor of Megaupload.
It is second website by Kim Dotcom, who previously operated Megaupload that was taken down by FBI.
I don't want to risk my data by storing them on a website that has potential of shutting off.
I know that its unlikely and all that... but I just find...
Website is even SSL, don't know what's the upload file size limit is yet but seems good so far. Thank You.
Anymore posts about bigger storage allowance cloud websites are welcome.
In your opinion which one is the free Cloud Storage service with biggest storage allowance?
I don't need any extra online apps associated with it, like ability edit or view it online.
Just online storage, like Online HDD, thats it.
Only free services please.
Preferably big uploading file size...
So I did used XDA Forums and AndroidForums but both of them have tons of custom ROM for different OS versions.
As I said I am looking for Generic Jelly Bean ROM, not customized by someone.
I was expecting to download generic version (Stock ROM) from Google or my phone's manufacture's (Samsung)...
I also found XDA Forums for Android while I was searching for some assistance in order to upgrade.
I wasn't sure if they were credible source but I take your suggestion and will try them out.
I am not really picky about getting exact 4.2.2 version of Jelly Bean, I just want to get Jelly Bean due...
There are actually lots of videos on YouTube and instructions on random websites I found through Google.
Problem is all of them gives you customized Jelly Bean ROM which would upgrade your OS from any previous OS to the Jelly Bean but all of this is done by their custom ROM, not by generic ROM...
I hope there are some Android geeks here.
I have Samsung Galaxy Y GT-S5360.
GSM, Factory Unlocked, Not Rooted.
I can root my phone if absolutely must needed in order to update.
Currently by default it came with Android 2.3.6 Gingerbread.
My question is how do I update it to the...
So I successfully encrypted my HDD with BitLocker, and it does asks for password before loading OS.
BUT before BitLocker loads I can still go to my Setup Menu using F2, and to my Boot Menu using F12.
Seems like I can boot the computer from external boot device (CD/DVD) and get access to my data...
Thanks Shawn Disk Cleanup method worked and I was able to delete my Windows.old folder which was ~3GB.
After selecting cleanup system files I checked all boxes in the window, which also deleted all log files, Windows Update Log files, Installation files and pretty much everything else it could...
Out of my 640 GB (5400 RPM) HDD, currently 53 GB is free. I deleted my system partition and recovery partition, combined all that and made one big partition, to manage my HDD space before I updated my Win 7 to Win 8. I know it wasn't very good idea but I didn't had other choice.
If its too complicated to change the username or if doing so would delete my any threads or other data on this website then do not change it.
Its not a big deal but I just wanted to fix my capitalization.
Currently it is "mcneil" if possible please change it to "McNeil"
How can I change my username on this website?
There is a option to change password and email but I don't see any option to change username.
If there is any please post direct link to the page or describe how to go there.
Currently I have only one one HDD on my Win 8 Pro x64 laptop. There is only one partition (C: System/OS and all my other data).
My HDD is almost full!
My question is if I encrypt the entire HDD using BitLocker, meaning encrypt my one and only drive which would mean encrypting my entire HDD, how...
Hey Brink, I also upgraded from Win 7 Home Premium x64 to Win 8 Pro x64.
So I also have Windows.old folder.
But I assume it has system files on it that I shouldn't delete.
Does Win 8 ever uses file from Windows.old folder?
I currently have no plans but can that folder be helpful if I decide to...
