Install 2 versions of Windows 8

If I install a different version of Windows 8 so I can dual boot would it cause any boot problems? I would like to dual boot Windows 8 Pro 64 bit and Windows 8 32 bit to run older programs. My computer was pre-installed with Windows 7 so i don't have UEFI. Windows 8 32 bit will be a full install.

I do have an old copy of Windows 98 SE. Can I run these games using Windows 98 in a VM. If so; What Vm do you recommend I use? TIA :)
