I welcome this servicing stack update. I have had great problems with Windows 8.1 updates for many months but everything seems to have settled down after KB5001403 was installed and Windows Modules Installer and its Worker are once again behaving themselves, at least for now.

I entered Control Panel->Administrative Tools to examine the settings of a service. While doing this, the alphabetical order of the list mysteriously became randomised. I cannot find a way to restore the alphabetical order.
Only 29 months of support left. Shame that Microsoft is so obsessed with features that it neglects quality and reliability. Windows 8.1 does not cause its users to be filled with dread as each Patch Tuesday approaches.
