    Don't know how that option got checked, I would never opt in customer experience programs. Found it here: Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Action Center\Change Action Center settings I changed it, and I will set the thread as solved if the problem disappears. Thanks again for the help :D

    I have a canon mp280 which has all the drivers installed, it's usually in stand by most of the time. I put the WIA service to manual, hope this does the trick. Thanks btw.
