Well it was working flawlessly for about a week or two and now it started acting up again. I booted it up and noticed that the trackpad icon was not in the notification area, then it appeared, but it still acted odd. I'm going to keep an eye on event viewer.

I've been doing that but being in a college lecture hall with no place to put the mouse makes it extremely frustrating. Besides the fact I shouldn't have to do that anyway if this thing was designed right in the first place.

Nothing. Bad RAM was from the factory. Replaced a few weeks after I bought it.

Bad RAM was replaced, both drivers downloaded and installed, there's no esd folder, I have hidden folders shown.

Those unknown devices are the HP 3D driveGuard and the HP wireless button driver.

I don't have an esd folder. I do have a Windows.old folder though.

I just installed that driver that was suggested and I'm playing with the mood pad and it takes a good second or two to catch up with the input on the mood pad to my finger placement. Could it be a bios problem? Maybe it's not communicating with the OS properly? The only thing is it worked well...

It was a problem with the previous install as well. I'm led to believe it is a software problem because it was working perfect in Windows 8 minus multi touch support. I'm positive the iso is a clean iso. Also, my touch screen doesn't work.
