DISM - Fixing Component Store Corruption in Windows 8

Should that part state "C:\Windows\Logs\DISM" instead of "C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\"? I just performed a health check and the log was saved in the DISM folder, not in the CBS one.

    Solved BSOD Crash

No Pure 3.0 is fine but one of its driver is causing the crash, it could be due to conflicts or malware activity. Boot in safe mode with networking and run a scan of Malwarebytes. It should pick up that 'adware' that you mentioned above. If that doesn't fix try reinstalling Kaspersky Pure.

    Solved BSOD Crash

The obvious cause is your Kaspersky product, make sure that you're using the latest build, i.e version 2014 14.0.0.4651 (d). KAV/KIS 2014 without patch B are incompatible with Windows 8.1 nor are any of the older 2013 builds.

How to change units in the Bing Travel App?

Title says it all, Microsoft for some reason decided to illogically force the outdated nonsensical imperial system that no one uses in the Windows 8.1 Apps. The temperature unit can be changed from stupid F to C in the Weather App but there is not such setting in the Bing Travel App. How am...

Latest Intel HD Graphics Driver for Windows 8

Intel doesn't provide any kind of driver for the Express 4 series, you'll need to use the current WDDM1.0 driver from Windows Update or install the older Windows 7 version in compatibility mode. I have a laptop with the same chipset and everything works, I haven't tested the scaling but it's...

    BSOD: DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE (9f) with Hp ProBook 450

The above shows rtbth.sys as the cause, this particular driver is used by your Ralink Bluetooth Adapter. You should update it. Use either the standard manufacturer driver or HP's own driver (Ralink Bluetooth Software Driver)

Solved Random BSODs on new system, need help please.

Steam was indeed involved but it's unlikely to the be problem here. Other than that I can't find any plausible cause, I've called in additional help.

Solved Random BSODs on new system, need help please.

Latest dump is still pointing to the Nvidia Streamer Service but a core kernel module was also involved, this is usually triggered by a hardware fault. If it's not the RAM either the processor or GPU is the likely cause here, stress test your GPU with OCCT. NVIDIA/AMD Video Card - Test with...

Solved Random BSODs on new system, need help please.

I think I narrowed down the problem to the Nvidia Streamer Service(nvstreamsvc.exe) related to Nvidia Shield, multiple users have reported crashes but Nvidia has yet to acknowledge it. You should disable it in the meantime...

Solved Random BSODs on new system, need help please.

Can't seem to find any particular cause but you have a rather old driver that could be problematic: CLVirtualDrive.sys (Virtual Clone Drive), remove this from your system. One dump did point to nvlddmkm.sys, your Nvidia driver. Upgrade to 327.23 NVIDIA DRIVERS 327.23WHQL Post back with new...

Solved Random BSODs on new system, need help please.

Your Atheros/Dell extensible WLAN network adapter driver (athrx.sys) is the cause. Head over to Dell's driver page for your model and install the "Dell DW1703 802.11 b/g/n,BT4.0 + HS" driver. That should update your current version. BugCheck D1, {10000024, 2, 0, fffff8800751e2af} Unable...
