Partitions Deleted in Diskpart, Recovery issue

I had Windows 8 installed on my HP laptop with core i7 and I planned to install windows 8.1 instead. I backed up all the contents on the last partition and started the procedure. Due to MBR format Windows 8 setup asked me to convert it to GPT and i looked over on youtube and did the Diskpart on c drive but unfortunately i found that whole drive was cleaned. I installed windows 8.1 and then installed EaseUS partition manager and after 5 hours of scan i found the lost partitions but when i try to recover same, it is giving following error.

Please help me and let me know if it is possible to recover that partition and how ?

I feel for you. You have to be really careful and exactly sure when using the clean or cleanall command on diskpart, or any command if you not very used to using it.

Most importantly though going forward, Always, backup your desired drive or partitions to ANOTHER drive! ..and have it unplugged (safe) when you are working with these kinds of softwares.
(fwiw, I leave all my OS partitions MBR, but then again I'm a little old fashion anyway)

Looking at your screenshot though, doesn't it say that your E partition is already undeleted? ..and is why that it conflicts with itself to be undeleted again?

thanks for replying. you are absolutely right, i always take backup on my external drive but this time i skipped and faced this issue.

as i have selected the E partition so it is showing Undeleted for the process

i tried to recover with EaseUS recovery boot cd and it took 7 hours to scan C drive then i left my laptop plugged in and started the recovery process and slept. In the morning, i found my laptop battery dead and the recovery was done half way.

I actually have your EaseUS installed (along with other similar programs) Here's a screenshot of what it sees when I start her up:
OT, but notice as I said before, not only my triple boot OS's SSD is in MBR format, but so is All my drives; point is, you could of left Win8 installing it on MBR and not have converted it if you did not want to. I did, same with Win10; but I've digressed here sorry.

I don't seen on this EaseUS there is a place where you can Resume on your unfinished Undelete task?
Also, another nit I have with EaseUS is that when you Explore the partition, it won't let you copy out of it. Starting another up, I see neither will MiniTool Partition Wizard. I also have Eassos PartitionGuru installed, and what I like about that is that it Does give you a 'right click on file' option to copy file(s) out of a partition no matter its condition. Point being, even if partition was now corrupted, you could still copy your backup image file out of it... which brings up to another point (there are dozens of points here) but when you create a backup image of a full drive of partition, or a single partition, besides always saving it to Another drive, but also save it not as a clone (and what I mean by that) but a single backup image file...the advantage of doing that are endless to many to cover here, but if you had done that, we would not be having this conversation; basically you restore your drive/partition from that one backup image, or explore and copy out of it (too much to cover) Also there are many good drive/partition imagers out there, choose wisely.

Also, there are many other recovery programs that 'may' help you 'at this point' of your dilema to undelete that partition..
If I had your drive in my hand I would plug it into my setup, and use my various software to copy out of it what files you want first, and then lastly try a restore on the partition with various programs.
One thing you know, is Not to write on the drive, or use it, since you need a non-write non-destructive software copy as to not overwrite what you have. Also, you know always always always create your backup drive/partition files to a Different drive completely, and save it aside, unplugged, until you need it. I wish I could help more, if I had your drive in my hands I could.

the battery was fine, the laptop was plugged in all the time so it might an error with the battery. I removed the battery and booted the laptop without it and it was working fine then i placed it back and it started charging.

the partially recovered files are enough for me

since you have great knowledge about computers, i need a little help regarding my DELL 5559 laptop. It is having core i5 with 12 gb ram but it works too slow. I installed a 128gb SSD on the cd drive port to move my OS to SSD so it can work faster but i don't want any issues so can you tell me any software or method to do it safely. currently my c drive is 170gb and i don't know how to fit that on a 128gb ssd.

also, i use aomei backupper for backup, is that a reliable software ?

I've not used Aomei Backupper but I have used Aomei Partition Assistant before and liked it very much, especially setting up HD's (spinners or SSD) creating/formating partitions with their Advanced button has the optional task Optimizing for SSD alignment, it's unique because.. well most have/do it, but this one let's you achive alignment with less that the 1MB pre-partition space which for me is convenient for my unique usage; anyway again I digress.

fizspace, there are Many programs that can help you do the task you ask, but I am really at a loss to advise you which ones you'll like and prefer to use, and your $ allowance, or for free, and then the learning curve how to use them. The possibilities are many.

As mentioned before about creating/restoring images though, whichever one you use I'd suggest not to do a clone from one drive to the other, but rather instead create a single backup image file, saving that file to a spare HD, and then having that allows to restore from that same particular timeline of your backup image indefinitely without affecting source, and a dozen other very good reasons.

To your question though, most imager programs after creating a backup image file of that 170GB OS partition you said you have, when you go to restore it to a 128GB new SSD, it will auto-adjust itself to fit the data into that 'As Long As' your used data of the source did/does not exceed the 128GB = However Of Course here you Also always consider the 15-25% blank space needed on the SSD for proper TRIM. I prefer to do it all manually (setup the new target partition layout) beforehand anyway, and then restore the OS partition into the partition I specified - but that's just fussy me.
