deleted my user account (windows 8.1)

Hi guys,

I was buggering around and accidentally deleted my admin user account. Now im unable to do most functions, cannot open C drive, it tells me that C drive is unreachable and its states NTFC

Please help

Have a DELL Inspiron 15, i5, NVIDIA Geforce, 1TB, 8GB

You might see if you may be able to use Option Two in the tutorial below to enable the built-in Administrator account at boot. Afterwards, you could log in to that account to create yourself a new administrator account from.

After you get this fixed, I suggest that you have at least two working accounts in Windows - one Administrator account, and one standard user account. Make sure you know the password for each one. Then use the standard user account for everyday usage. If something requires administrator rights, it will pop up a window and ask you for the password of the administrator account. Or, you can right-click on a program and tell it to run/open as administrator.

And do a complete backup of your hard drive every now and then (at least once a month), so that you can easily recover in case disaster strikes.
