How to delete Windows folder?

    How to delete Windows folder?


    I instaled windows 8,i had windows 7 on the same drive.Now i want to delete windows folder in windows.old.When i try this i get permission error...
    Can anyone help me to delete this folder?

    If you would like to delete the whole Windows.old folder, then the tutorial below can help show you how to.

    Otherwise, you could take ownership of and set permissions to "Allow" your user account "Full Control" to be able to delete it afterwards.

    Cleanmgr will normally do it. But it does not seem to have worked for you.Otherwise boot into safe mode and delete it from there.

    Ok. Have you already tried using all THREE options in the tutorial?? OPTION THREE should work if the others didn't.

    When you say it doesn't work above, what exactly does it do when you try them?
