Well! recently i noticed that my space has went down.... quite a lot.
I was afraid something weird was going on so i downloaded one of those programs that let you see how much space a thing is holding up. I found out that my system recovery was hording over 680GB of my 900Gb... And well since then its been about less then a week and its already up to 700GB.

I want to turn off system restore but i don't want to get rid of the points i have right now just in case something goes wrong and we have to recover... I don't know why its hoarding all the space even when i have the system restore set to save only 5%

This is the image that shows the system recovery when it was at its 680GB range.
Also all the files are called backup. i think thats normal, some are smaller then 0.1gb, while they slowly increase to 2GB a piece..... I'm highly confused and wanted to get this out.

This is all the files. and while i was waiting for this reply it took 7 more GB >-<
It seems its like taking GB everyday.....

I really don't know what might be running in the background to cause this.......
While i wait for replies, I'll do some research with ccleaner to see if i can find any thing running in the background. Even though i don't know what I'm looking for.

Please download and save FRST 64bit or FRST 32 bit to your Desktop.

http://download.bleepingcomputer.com/farbar/FRST.exe

http://download.bleepingcomputer.com/farbar/FRST64.exe

Right click to run as administrator (XP users click run after receipt of Windows Security Warning - Open File). When the tool opens click Yes to disclaimer.

Make sure that Addition option is checked.
Press Scan button.
It will produce a log called FRST.txt in the same directory the tool is run from.
Please copy and paste log back .
The first time the tool is run it generates another log (Addition.txt - also located in the same directory as FRST.exe/FRST64.exe).

Can i question what this does?
since i want to know what things would do before i would download random things that create txt files?

I just like to be cautious.
