Users have login problems after password change

We have 1000+ users in our Active Directory system. Many of them have their work email on their smartphones. When they have a required password change in the 90-day time frame, they often forget to update their phone's email password. Written and verbal reminders don't help much, and we get a lot of help desk calls. We see a lot of account lockouts and I'm hoping to get some ideas on how to propagate the password update to all devices. I've just begun researching this. Any ideas? Thanks

Can the automated reminder be set to include "please also update your phone and tablet devices with the new password" ?
