    System Restore Issue.... Win 8.1

I had a need to do a system restore the other day. There was a restore point that was just a few days old and was perfect for what I wanted.
The system did it's thing and went to reboot as per usual but when the desktop came up the usual "Sucessful" was not there and it said that it could not complete because there was a file that had caused it to not complet and maybe I should turn off my AV and try again.
I did that and tried again but got the same result and I am not able to do a restore. Is there something that I can try to turn this around.
    Harrier.

Use SFC to check and repair windows systemfiles.

See this tutorial SFC /SCANNOW Command - Run in Windows 8
    Note
If SFC could not fix something, then run the command again to see if it may be able to the next time. Sometimes it may take running the sfc /scannow command 3 times restarting the PC after each time to completely fix everything that it's able to.

If not, then run the Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth command to repair any component store corruption, restart the PC afterwards, and try the sfc /scannow command again.

I did as the sfc option 2 suggested but it said that I should be an administrator to run this.
I am the only user and I thought I was accepted as admin on this system.......

How do I correct this please.

You need to use the commandprompt(admin)
Take the cursor to the bottom left corner and right-click to open the WinX menu. Select Command Prompt (Admin) to open an elevated command prompt.

OK, I did one scan and it said it did fix some but not all errors and I remember that I might have to do this a few times... but if you need the scan results for each, please let me know.

I tried to do another scan.... nothing, it just sat there. I restarted the PC and tried again and after 10 minutes it was still not doing another scan....... Did I miss something?

But for now, here is the #1 scan log....
