    My card insists on placing a folder in my temp folder - %temp%.
    I would like to not have it there.
    Is there a way to make this happen. I have removed all of nvidea in programs and features except the driver.
    I run Win 10 x64 and never saw it there before.
    Thank you

    Why would it even matter? The first Cleanup program you run, even Windows Disk Cleanup, will dump the temp folders anyway.

    The temp folders (and there are many of them) are necessary only for a short time anyway.... that's why they are called "temp", which is short for "temporary storage". I would NOT try to second guess programs that need to use a TEMP folder. It's the way they work!

    I have a little program that runs in my Startup folder, called "Temp Cleaner" that deletes the contents of every 'Temp' folder in the HD. I call that my automatic Maid Service.

    Good Luck

    This folder persisted for weeks even as disc cleanup was run. Nothing belongs there for a long time anyway:
    There are two ways to get around it;
    1-Nvidea card in temp to remove = control panel>NVidia control panel>manage 3 D settings>shader cache> off and reboot.
    Now run %temp% and delete it.
    2- Ccleaner and follow prompts to do so.
    #1 is far more effective as the temp folder is only temporary but at times files can remain. Constant omission is not necessary.

Nvidia in Graphic Cards
I actually recommend to people NOT to get these cards. About 24 months or so ago, my pc started going really screwy, images would freeze, crash altogether or generally misbehave. I narrowed it down to the video card driver software. This was on and from win 7 when installed. I reverted to an 18...
