Solved Re-imaging from external hard drive (Win 8.1)

Hi Folks,

I'm trying to restore a saved image of Win 8.1 from an external drive.

When I go through the process (Win 8.1 DVD > Advanced Options > System Image Recovery ) there's no reference to any of my saved images... When I select "Select a system image" it wants me to add drivers to access the external drive, which is weird because it gives me the option to look on the external drive for the driver??

I've tried saving off the driver within Windows 8.1 for the external drive but it doesn't work in this instance. I've been searching for a solution for hours and so far nada

Can anyone PLEASE point me in a direction of where I'm going wrong... Can you do an image restore within Windows 8.1 itself? I know you can you in Windows 7.

Make sure your backup image folder "WindowsImageBackup" is stored in the root of the external drive...
