Computer freezes/hangs. No dump files. Power Kernel ID 41.

    Hello.

My computer freezes/hangs at about 3-4 times per month. After that I have to hold the power button, turn it off and turn it on back again. Event logs say KERNEL POWER EVENT ID 41.
"The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly."
    No dump files are created.

So I would like to fix that annoying issue for good. I have been trying to let it go but I can't stand it anymore.

Would it be software or hardware related? Can we pin point the issue? I don't mind buying knew parts, just need to get this done.

    Windows 8.1 Pro
    Mobo: P8Z77-M
    Crucial M500 SSD 256GB
    AMD 7970 vapor-x
    2x 8GB corsair vengeance RAM
    i7 3700k

The processor is OCed a bit, so is the GPU. Those hangs are way too random though and I have stress-tested for stability. Problems occur even when pc is running cool and with no intensive apps. I've reinstalled windows once a good while back but the problem continued.
I do have a feeling that it has to do with SLEEPING. Might be a coincidence but the pc seems to run fine if I keep turning it off and on instead of just sleeping. Could it be that something is being written in a wrong way everytime it sleeps?

    Logs are attached.

I'm not sure if I should bump this? 5 days, should I still be expecting some kind of assistance?

Your problem is not BSOD related, this problem is in the wrong section.
You'll need to be in the performance section is my guess.

It's not related to BSOD? I thought general crashing and freezing were all in the same basket.

    Why would you say performance?

    There are 3 different crashes

    1. BSOD Crashes,
    2. Sudden reboot/shutdown crashes,
    3. System freeze crashes.

A kernel id 41 means a power problem what means a sudden reboot/shutdown crash.
The description of a kernel id 41 in my words: the system has been unexpected shutdown without first being properly shutdown
This happens with a BSOD crash too, but there is no BSOD log.
There is also no dump file in your zip
    Code:
    ### DUMP FILE LIST ###

    MEMORY.DMP not found
I say performance and maintenance, because this problem comes closest to a performance issue.

SOLVED After testing it for over a month, I can say for sure that the power supply was the cause. Changed it with a 450w one and ever since then, the pc is working great. For anyone who can't open up his PSU or doesn't want to risk by doing it to check the capacitors, go to bios and check...

Hi all, I've been having this issue for a good few months now. As far as I remember it came on suddenly, not gradually, though there may have been a small period during which it sometimes powered down correctly and sometimes did not - I can't remember. When going into shutdown, sleep, or...
