It definitely does, the PSU converts the power to the right voltages for your laptop.
My PSU has AC 100-240V and DC 19.5V, the AC is way too much for the laptop.

Btw, did you also make sure, when connecting the battery back to the laptop, that the connections of both the wires and the laptop are clean of any dust?

it was indeed a dead battery. i received by battery today which i ordered from china online, and its working fine(for now).

i also tried to turn on my laptop with the inverter, and it didn't turn on(did it some times ago, before receiving my battery.. thought i should post).

Hello, for the past couple of days, I have been getting random BSODs (usually while gaming). I have attached the log files. Hi, I haven't made any major changes recently. My hardware is exactly the same. There have been a few software updates and I haven't restarted my computer since it didn't prompt me. The most likely candidate, in my opinion, is Google Drive. I've disabled the status icons and right-click...

Hey there, a few days ago I received a supposedly Manufacturer Refurbished HP ENVY TS 15 Notebook PC that I bought on Ebay. Since then, I've had multiple different BSOD errors while performing different tasks or even when doing nothing. Drivers seem to be updated and I'm concerned that this...
