So a couple of window updates ago my CPU started maxing out for seemingly no reason. Taking a look at the task manager I see that there is a unnamed backgrounds processes. Right clicked and searched online and it says it "svchost.exe". After searching around for a while all of their suggestions do work because is not any of the "subcategories" just the main "svchost.exe" that is killing my CPU.
What I think is the weirdest thing is that if I were to run a game like GTA V, it forces the "svchost.exe" to only use 20% to 30% of the total CPU usage, because GTA V is using the rest. I have download Process Explorer to see what in "svchost.exe" is using it and there's nothing.
I have a Intel Core i5-470 @3.20 GHz, and never had this issue until that update a while ago. I've been just dealing with it until deciding to just go to the OS forum for help. If anyone want screenshots of something let me know and I will get them.
