Hey guys. Just as the title says, my disk usage shoots up to 100% during boot up for a few minutes before returning to normal operation. I have spent hours searching for solutions, yet nothing has resulted in a fix. Just a quick overview of the things I have tried:
- Tried disabling SuperFetch, Windows Search, and BITS
- Updated chipset drivers
- Have tested HDD for failures (laptop is a brand new Sager 7358S)
- Disabled every start-up service
I have included a screen shot to show that svchost.exe seems to be to culprit, but I do not know how to remedy the issue from here. Hopefully someone here knows how! Thanks in advance.
