New computer Windows 8.1 takes 7 minutes to open!

I can't BELIEVE this. Got a new HP Envy laptop. Best Buy loaded everything. When they showed it to me I mentioned it took too long to open. They had no answer. Last year I reloaded Windows 7 on my older computer. Greg Rocker helped me take off the JUNK he says comes on a new puter. Can anyone help me with a link ???? Or tell me what to take off???
It makes me so angry to think I spent almost $1,000 and this computer takes 3 times as long to open.

    Thanks so much, Eileen

Greg Rocker is one of the Techs on Windows 7. He helped me reinstall Windows 7 on my Dell computer. It was when you cold get help, they could be on your computer and fix things. I do not want to get him in trouble he really spent a lot of time reinstalling it. They don't do that anymore. He said when you get a new computer you have a lot of "junk", ads, programs you won't use or need etc.

I know I must have too much stuff starting and running when I boot up....but what do disable????

Don't know if it matters regarding this problem but I just put my computer specs in. I don't know how to find what Motherboard I have and don't know what a PSU is.

O.k. had a feeling he might of been someone here or from another forum. True a lot of bloatware loaded on new computer, some manufacturer's more then others loading bloatware. Can not tell you what to stop running at startup when i do not even have a list of software starting up.

Take a screen capture of task mangers Start tab ? Or make a list. Hard to help what you can not see, as far as system specs go can give us model number of HP Envy. As far as connecting to your laptop remotely, think that is not an option i would do or for here.

If you're curious after de-gunking the machine, get a boot trace and upload it somewhere for analysis:

    Please download: MiniToolBox Download
It is a little program and does not require installation. Run it and put a check mark on list installed programs as shown below:

Copy and paste the list so we have some idea what to suggest to uninstall/remove.
