Disabling Startup Programs and Processes through Ccleaner

Hi, someone over at sevenforums helped me speed up my startup time by disabling startup programs and processes through Ccleaner. Can someone help me do this on my Windows 8.1 desktop? I have the text log saved to my desktop.

Help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

    Hello Jesse,

It should pretty much be the same steps in Windows 8.1 as Windows 7. The tutorial below can help detail how to do it in Windows 8.1 though.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Yes, I know Brink. But, I don't know which to disable. I have the file saved to my computer, if you would like to see it so that you can tell me which ones to disable.

Oh, and I have dueling threads on both forums for the Windows 8.1 desktop. You can delete the one at the Seven Forums site.

It would be best to do Windows 8.1 here only, and Windows 7 there to help keep them on topic.

Yeah, go ahead and post your startup log, and I'll be happy to take a look at it. Is there any programs listed in it that you do want to have run at startup?

You want to keep the ones in bold red below.

As for the rest of them, it's safe to disable all of them if you like, but it really depends on what you want and don't want to have running. You can always enable any one of them again if it turns out that you did need or want it though.
