Solved SFC can't fix some corrupted files

On another thread, I had a problem getting a cloned SSD to boot, but finally did by running Windows 8 Mgr on the original SSD and then recloning. But running sfc /scannow on the cloned drive, it's returning the message that Wondows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them. I found another thread on that subject from a year ago that suggested running Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth and then sfc in admin mode. I ran DISM, but it eventually returned the error message that it didn't know where to look, and SFC returned the same corrupt files message. Any suggestions?

Please try again in this order:

1. Dism.exe /online /Cleanup-Image /StartComponentCleanup
2. dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
3. sfc /scannow

Thanks. Step 2 still returns the error message (Ox800f0906) that the source files could not be downloaded. Use the "source" location of the required files to restore the feature. Did dism & sfc run clean when you boot your PC with it ?

Not sure what you mean by that. Following JohnBurns link (thanks!), I uninstalled KB 3022345, rebooted and then your three-step dism/sfc instructions ran w/o error. Thanks. Now I can get onto more bothersome problems.
