SFC and DISM perpetually damaged files

I'm trying to fix a bunch of misc. issues that have been plagueing me, one of which is the fact that depsite this Windows installation being only a few months old and well cared for, SFC reports a bunch of broken files it can't fix and DISM can't do a thing about it either.

    I've attached a trimmed copy of cbs.log
    CBS.txt

I've tried sfc, dism, a repair install from installation media (wouldn't allow itself to run), safe mode, etc etc and all the usual things that come to mind (I'm not inexperienced with PCs) or turn up when Googling these things for the 12th time. Nothing really seems to work.

Anyone got a minute to help me fix this please?

Have you tried running 'Startup Repair'? This is an inbuilt utility to get your damaged OS and file system files replaced.
You'll need to run it at least 2 or 3 times to ensure that all the damaged or corrupt files has been replaced carefully.

Do let us know if the problem still persists!!

I've got a custom bootloader and such installed. My previous experiences with MS repair tools has been that they not only dislike such customizations but they even try to undo them. One time, running Startup Repair even broke a working boot without asking me anything because it decided it wanted to overwrite my bootloader and mbr as part of the "solution".

Does that still happen today or have they wisened up?

Startup repair will do no harm if not good and perfect for running in Windows 7 PCs or higher. In Windows 8, you can use refresh option to make your PC as fresh as new.

Don't forget to backup important stuff and setup files of important programs (license keys too) to ensure everything can be restored if it didn't works.
