Audio problem windows 8

I am having a problem. i just recently installed a new system update for windows 8 and now my audio output is not working. i have re-installed all realtek audio drivers (my audio output for my MSI laptop). Additional info: in my playback devices none of the applications are being recognized (google chrome and Itunes, etc) can anyone help with this problem. URGENT!! thank you

If it's so urgent then why don't you uninstall Windows updates that cause troubles?
